Evaluating websites as an adult is clearly much more sophisticated than the cognitive skills of a younger student would allow. Part 2 of this exercise was to think about the sort of model you could use to teach your students about critical evaluation. One school of thought is that children at Years 1 and 2 levels probably shouldn't be searching the web, but that teachers should provide the sites. What does your experience tell you?
